General purpose of position:

• Responsible for new client acquisition; relationship management; client services; financial advice and planning.

Key Accountabilities

1. Grow business: new client sales, referrals, personal and professional networks
2. Retain clients by thrilling them with service: responsive, intimate, and trusting relationships
3. Financial planning: prepare and deliver financial plans for all clients, update annually or as needed
4. Financial advice: provide effective behavioral guidance to nudge clients into making rational decisions
5. Work within team-based approach: leverage your team for sales, investments, and back office support
6. Tech savvy: proficient and comfortable using various web-based software programs
7. Other duties as required

Education, experience and certifications required:

• B.A./B.S. or equivalent required
• Series 65 (Index Gurus can sponsor)
• Experience in selling services and/or providing client service in a consulting or professional services environment
• Proven success in working with a team, leveraging their strengths, and supporting them as well
• Experience with financial planning and/or customer relationship management (CRM) systems a plus, but not required
